The programme of of this year’s Flying University of Transnational Humanities (FUTH) on “Globalization and Health” is now available under http://www.worldhistory.pitt.edu/futh.php.

As part of the programme, Scott Schorr, one of our former MLitt students in Modern History, who is working on the edge between history and computer science with the goal of visualising transnational flows and connections will be presenting on “An Alternative Geography of the Global Sphere: Comparing Visualizations of the European Union (EU) and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Institutional Complexity & Mimicry East & West.”

As the Centre for Transnational History is part of the Steering Committee of the FUTH we hope to be hosting the 2015 FUTH at St Andrews.
