As part of our Late Modern Research Seminar,

Professor Dirk Moses                  Prof. Dirk Moses(EUI Florence)

will give a lecture on

Partitions, Forced Population ‘Transfers’ and the Question of Human Rights in Central Europe During the 1930s and 1940s

Dirk Moses specialises in modern German history, intellectual history as well as memory studies. His talk will focus on one of him main areas of research around genocide and ethnic cleansing. In 2007 he published “German Intellectuals and the Nazi Past” (New York and Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2007/paperback 2009).
